Ellington Graves

Ellington Graves is Assistant Provost for Diversity and Inclusion and the Director of the Africana Studies Program in the Department of Sociology. He has been a faculty member at Virginia Tech for 19 years, teaching courses ranging from Sociological Theory and Social Inequity to African American Identity and Leadership for Change. He received his B.A. in Sociology from the The Johns Hopkins University, his M.S. in Sociology from Virginia Tech, and his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
