4-VA
About 4-VA
The 4-VA organization, 4-VA.org, is a public-private partnership among:
- Virginia Tech (VT)
- George Mason University (GMU),
- James Madison University (JMU),
- University of Virginia (UVA),
- Old Dominion University (ODU),
- Virginia Military Institute (VMI),
- Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and
- College of William and Mary (W&M).
These institutions partner with Virginia state-level entities and technology providers to promote collaboration and resource sharing, utilize emerging technology, reduce time and cost to graduation, and identify other priority areas while maintaining and enhancing quality educational experiences.
Participation in the 4-VA
Participation in the 4-VA Consortium facilitates collaborative work between faculty at Virginia Tech and partner universities by investing in projects that support 4-VA goals, state-level initiatives, university priorities, and activities aligned with those at the college, department, and program level.
Each year, Virginia Tech determines high priority/high impact focus areas for support that align with 4-VA initiatives. See the current open RFPs on the 4-VA website.
Call for Proposals
4-VA collaborative is issuing an inter-institutional call for proposals to support efforts that bring together course redesign and experiential learning.
